Emergencies, disasters, or accidents can happen at any time and without warning. Even though we cannot always anticipate or prevent them, we can mitigate their effects through proper preparation.
USC has devoted extensive resources to planning and preparing for emergencies, including fires, earthquakes, and all other natural or human-caused disasters. These preparations are continually refined, rehearsed and improved.
The Emergency Planning team coordinates all emergency-preparedness efforts at USC. We provide plans, programs, training and information for the university community.
