What is CERT
Campus Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a group of approximately 300 USC volunteers who have received in-depth disaster response training. The 20-hours federally certified course covers emergency preparedness, search and rescue, disaster triage and first aid, disaster fire-fighting, and psychological first aid. Each member of this critical volunteer team receives CERT vest and shirt, hardhat, gloves, and a backpack of emergency response supplies. Interested participants contact Emmelina Najera at emmelina@usc.edu
